WHP Programme – Workplace Health Promotion

M.M.’s participation in the WHP — Workplace Health Promotion — programme is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and reflects its concrete commitment to the wellbeing of its employees.

WHP is an initiative recommended by the World Health Organization to promote health in the workplace through a three-year programme. Through this programme, we promote:

• work-life balance,
• the adoption of healthy lifestyles,
• disease prevention.

M.M. began its WHP journey in 2024. Initiatives implemented include the reorganisation of break rooms to encourage social interaction and everyday wellbeing; awareness-raising meetings on topics such as nutrition, cardiovascular prevention and safe driving; the adoption of a Smoking Prevention Policy and a Policy to prevent addictions and risk behaviours related to alcohol, narcotic, psychotropic or psychoactive substances, and gambling, with support programmes for those wishing to stop smoking or address other forms of addiction.

The WHP programme complements the measures already in place at M.M. to support workplace wellbeing and work-life balance: corporate welfare, supplementary healthcare, flexible working hours and remote working.

We believe that the wellbeing of our employees is an essential condition for the company’s growth.
