M.M. has obtained the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for a selection of pultruded FRP structural profiles, following a technical process carried out according to international standards EN 15804 and ISO 14025.
The certification concerns more than 40 profile geometries - including both open and closed geometric sections -, manufactured by pultrusion, intended for structural applications in industrial and infrastructural contexts, often subject to complex environmental conditions.
M.M. staff worked on the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in collaboration with Gesteco's sustainability team, which was responsible for collecting and modelling environmental data throughout the production cycle, from raw material procurement to end-of-life management. The document was independently verified by DNV Business Assurance Italy S.r.l. and officially registered in the EPD International portal.
The Environmental Product Declaration represents concrete support in contexts where verifiable environmental documentation is required, such as public tenders, contracts or projects with specific performance requirements.
