The Position Paper “Composite Materials Circularity”, issued by the industrial association Assocompositi, defines the guidelines for a circular management of composite products, involving diverse recycling possibilities.
This document has been developed within the Sustainability Working Table, which includes M.M. Grigliati as member of Assocompositi among its participants. The Working Table started its activities in 2020 and was promoted by this organisation, which is considered as the national Italian reference for the composite materials industry while gathering more than 70 companies and research institutions, as well as professionals involved in the sector.
The Paper illustrates a growing use of composite components, already designed and produced with a technical-economical view consistent with the circularity principles.
