On Friday 31 May, M.M.’s internal event ‘Una Giornata di Valore 2024’ was held, during which we celebrated the theme of innovation, a central value for our company that involves all team members.
Following the launch of the Charter of Values in 2022 and a 2023 dedicated to Competence, this year’s main theme was Innovation, which at M.M. is well represented by the company claim ‘We support your needs’. To tackle the new market challenges, we study and implement solutions and technologies that integrate sustainability, health, and safety. At M.M., innovation is the key to the future, promoting creative responses to customer needs and investments in research and development in collaboration with national and international universities and research centres.
The day began with a visit to a symbolic place of research and innovation, Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste, particularly significant for M.M., which thirty years ago supplied and installed fiberglass gratings to create part of the flooring of the service area and the beam tunnel of the Elettra synchrotron, offering an innovative solution still in use today.
The visit continued at Area Science Park, the largest science and technology park in Italy and one of the main ones in Europe, which represents a launching pad for some important collaborations for M.M.
Throughout many conferences, ongoing innovative projects were illustrated, offering moments of listening and discussion.
‘Thanks to everyone’s contribution, Una Giornata di Valore 2024 was an important opportunity for collaboration and training. Next year we will focus on Passion, the third pillar of M.M.’s values, which drives our actions and supports Competence and Innovation,’ said Emanuel Morandini, CEO of M.M.
